Day 1 USA/DELHI:
Welcome aboard your flight to Delhi, first stop on your Bhutan tour and Tibet adventure..

Day 2 DELHI:
Arrival reception and transfer to Hotel Grand Intercontinental/Park Hotel.

Day 3 DELHI/AGRA:
After breakfast we'll begin our tour which will take us to the Presidential Palace, Parliament House, India Gate, Qutab Minar Tower, Jantar-
Mantar, the fashionable Connaught Circus. Red Fort, and Mahalaxmi Temple. This afternoon drive to Agra for overnight. Hotel Radisson Blue/Mogul.

Day 4 TAJ MAHAL:
This morning Stand awe-struck when you visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, certain to be an India tour highlight, as the colors on the white marble building give it a mythical aura. Completed in 1643, this exquisitely detailed monument is considered one of the finest architectural
achievements. Our next stop is Agra Fort, built principally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, the red sandstone Agra Fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan's time. Though the principal structure was built by Akbar, many more additions were made by his grandsons. This massive fort is 2.5 kms long, the colossal walls are 20 feet high and the whole fort is encircled by a fetid moat. Amar Singh gate towards the south is the only entry point in the fort. The building and structures inside the fort gives an impression of a city within the city. The marble pearl mosque inside the fort is one of the most stunningly beautiful mosques in India. Evening return to Delhi.

Day 5 DELHI/PARO/THIMPU:
Flight to Bhutan, the city of Paro. As we drive spectacular waterfalls and mountain peaks rise higher and higher on our way to Thimpu. The modern capital of Bhutan, built on lands dominated by the 400 yr. old Tashicko Dzong, visit the Taktsang Monastery. It is also known as Tiger's Nest at 9000ft. At the edge of a precipice, reached by horse. Hotel Druk/Taktsang.

Day 6 PUNAKHA/THIMPU:
As we continue our Bhutan travel through winding mountain drive from Thimphu will land you in Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, across Dochu La pass (3,050 m) with stunning scenery of the Himalayan ranges. Before reaching Punakha, a stop in Metshina will allow us a 20-minute hike through the rice fields to Chimi Lakhang, which is a fertility temple, where you may receive a special blessing if you wish.

Day 7 THIMPU/PARO:
Sightseeing, Thimpu bazaar handicrafts center and the memorial Chorten, drive to the Simtokha Dzong, 4 centuries old. Drive to Paro will give us an opportunity to visit the Simtokha Dzong, the oldest in Bhutan. After lunch visit a hospital of traditional medicine and National Library. Exquisitely carved & painted windows and roofs are adorned with dragonheads. Hotel Druk.

8 PARO VALLEY:
Today enjoy the scenic beauty of snow-capped peaks and deep carved landscapes, the main attraction of this remote Himalayan Kingdom. We'll stop at various dzongs (monasteries) which serve as religious centers and administrative offices. Our sightseeing includes Paro National Museum, 7th. C. Kyichu Laichang Dzong, Drukyul Dzong, which overlooks the Royal Palace, exquisitely carved & painted windows and pagoda roofs.

Day 9 PARO/KATHMANDU:
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Kathmandu. Hotel Del Annapurna/ Yak N Yeti. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City includes, Temple of Hanuman Dhoka Square, The House of the Living Goddess, The Royal Palace, and the city markets.

Day10 KATHMANDU:
After breakfast sightseeing tour will take you to fascinating city of Bhaktapur, city of religious devotees built in the shape of a shell. Visit the Lion Gate, the Picture Gallery and the Palace of Windows. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Patan: city of ancient architecture and fine arts, renowned for its silver, copper and bronze work.

Day 11 KATHMANDU/LHASA:
Fly to Lhasa, most holy city of Buddhism and the former home of Dalai Lama. After checking in at your hotel, you are advised to take rest, drink plenty of fluids and let your body get used to Lhasa's high altitude. You can go around the hotel area for light walk.

Day 12-13 LHASA:
During our Tibet vacation in Lhasa we'll visit Potala Palace, Jokhang, Sera, Drepung Monasteries, Barkur square and Ganden Monastery and observe the sky burial ceremony, where corpses are left out to be devoured by the birds.

Day 14 LHASA/GYANTSE:
Today we start our overland travel in Tibet to Gyantse and Shigatse. Travelling by jeep along the Friendship Highway we cross the spectacular Khamba La pass from which we’ll get stunning views of the snowy summit of Nazin Kang Sa 24,000ft) looking across
the waters of the Yamdrok-tso Lake. We then continue westwards over another high pass, the Karo La (5,045m), from which you can see a huge spectacular glacier tumbling down to within a few hundred meters of the road. After passing through beautiful valleys and colorful Tibetan villages we arrive in the town of Gyantse. Our overnight accommodation is at the Gyantse Hotel.

Day 15 SHIGATSE/ZHANGMU:

Drive to Shigatse crossing exhilarating passes over 16,000 ft. with stop enroute. Shigatse is the seat of Panchan Lama, second in command to Dalai Lama. Sightseeing Tashilumpo Monastery and surrounding buildings, later today we'll arrive in Zhangmu. You will be amidst the lush and verdant vege
tation of Zhangmu. At 2300m, Zhangmu is a small border town teetering on a precipitous hillside. It serves as the main port of entry between Tibet and Nepal.

Day 16 ZHANGMU/KATHMANDU:
After breakfast we drive down to the Chinese Immigratioin Zhangmu. The Friendship Bridge across Bhote Koshi River brings you closer to Immigration Control in Kodari where we'ill part with your Tibetan guide and driver and walk across the river to meet your Nepalese escort who will drive you to Kathmandu. The Nepali foothills and the greenery will make the drive pleasant and enjoyable. Arrive Kathamndu and check in at the Hotel Yak and Yeti.

Day 17 KATHMANDU/DELHI:
Pashupatinath,Boudhanath
Breakfast at the hotel.This morning we visit Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath Stupa.Bouddhanath Stupa lies about six km to the east of downtown Kathmandu and is the largest stupa in the Valley. It looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design. Bouddhanath, a World Heritage Site, rising up out of the terraced fields of the Kathmandu valley, visible for miles. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred hindu shrines in Nepal. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga, or phallic symbol,of Lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate the temple's existence prior to 400 AD. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati river flowing beside the temple, also a World Heritage Site. Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi.

Day 18 DELHI:
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free to explore Delhi on a leisurely. Suggested activities include a visit to National Museum, with in its possession over 200,000 works of art, of both Indian and foreign origin, covering more than 5,000 years of Indian cultural heritage. Its rich holdings of various creative traditions and disciplines which represents a unity amidst diversity, an unmatched blend of the past with the present and strong perspective for the future, brings history to life. The Buddhist art section has a most known for sacred relics of the Buddha (5th-4th century B.C.) unearthed from Piprehwa. Also suggested Teen Murti Bhavan, housed the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. It was designed by Robert Russell, the architect of Connaught Place and of the Eastern and Western Courts.. Today, the complex is also home to the center for Contemporary Studies, headquarters of Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund, Nehru Memorial Library, and also the Nehru Fellowship. This evening transfer to airport for homeward bound flight.
